ADSL and 3G FAILOVER

What happens when your ADSL connection dies for no apparent reason?

Network downtime can be extremely detrimental to any business system that requires permanent uptime. Many systems are mission critical by nature and any downtime usually corresponds to direct revenue loss.

The prohibitive costs of lease lines have made ADSL the primary choice of connectivity because of its high speed and relatively low cost. Businesses that require high speed, low cost and permanent connectivity still need to ensure that periods of downtime on their ADSL networks are buffered by an alternate form of connectivity.

Dynacomm uses and develops intelligent switching solutions that allow our customers' networks to automatically switch over to 3G/HSDPA wireless connectivity, maintaining and ensuring the continuity of your connectivity. Our solutions greatly reduce and, in most cases, completely eliminate downtime scenarios to your mission critical applications - keeping your systems and your profits up!

ADSL and 3G failover ensures that your connection is always on.

Always On

Our failover solution is compliant with worldwide ADSL standards and supports download rates of up to 12/24Mbps using ADSL2/2+, 8Mbps using ADSL and an upload rate of up to 1Mbps. The integrated Annex M standard supports ADSL2/2+ for higher upload speeds by doubling the upload data rate. Planned support for auto-failover means that you are assured of a constant internet connection. If your ADSL line fails the device connects via 3G to deliver uninterrupted connectivity.

Secure VPN Connections

The device supports embedded IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) protocols, allowing users to establish encrypted private connections of up to 16 simultaneous tunnels over the internet. With a built-in DES/3DES VPN accelerator, the device enhances IPSec VPN performance significantly and ensures that data is transmitted securely between two or more sites.

This device resides on every branch of your network. It serves as an ADSL router for primary connectivity and as automated failover to 3G/HSDPA, which is required to buffer periods of downtime on the ADSL network. This device also meets the requirement of inter-branch connectivity via VPN without incurring any additional hardware or software costs.
