Locating Your Mac Address on Windows XP

  • Click on "START" at the bottom left hand side of your screen.
  • Click on "RUN"

 

  • Type "CMD" in the Run Box and click "OK"

 

  • You will then see a little black window with white text.
  • Type in "iponfig /all" and click "ENTER".

  • At the next sreen you will see a heading above each adaptor ie: Ethernet Adaptor, Wireless Adaptor
  • Look for the heading "ETHERNET ADAPTOR"
  • Under each Heading you will see a list of Entries
  • Locate the Physical Address

 

  • If you look at the image above under Ethernet adaptor the Physical Address is shown on the 3rd line.
  • 00:24:21:9E:19:9C
